This role compliments the work done by WomenCentre specialist teams such as the domestic abuse service; helping to organise and distribute essential items such as food, clothes and toiletries to women seeking support. Our aim is to bring together a team to help us manage donated items and develop care packages for women.

The team will pull together essential items; this might be an emergency package for a family fleeing to refuge or a woman facing a cashflow crisis who has no food or heating.

As a charity we receive a lot of offers of support and donations; we would like to be in better position to give out these donations to women who need them to make best use of these kind offers.

This is a busy role; you will need to be organised and enjoy being active.

We are asking for a few hours once a week or once a fortnight.

We would welcome drivers as this would help in collecting donations and shopping for the food store.
