We support homeless and at-risk individuals through the provision of supported community housing, access to skills enhancement and opportunities to gain employment, and nurturing them into living purposeful lives for the benefit of themselves and their community.

Details of the Project:
Work alongside staff or volunteers to help with basic/minor repairs at our charity houses. Be able to drive, in order to travel between our sites to pick up/drop off various items including furniture/bedding etc as part of your duties.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
• Be able to undertake painting and decoration jobs in our resident properties for the benefit and safety of residents. This will include painting walls/skirting boards, ceilings etc. Also minor repair of fixtures and fittings etc. if required.
• To assist with wall papering, carpet fittings and furniture arranging when rooms are ready.
• To assess any major issues to advise best course of action with support team/landlords.
• Ensure rooms are in a fit state for residents to move into when all work is completed.
• Be able to undertake driving duties to go between sites or to be able to collect items from DIY stores like B&Q etc.
• Supervise and manage residents to assist with basic tasks.
