Funding to support LGBT+ organisations which are intersectional in focus across the UK.
Previously only open to groups in England, the LGBT+ Futures: Equity has announced an additional £90,000 of funding for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Grants of £100 to £25,000 are available to constituted not-for-profit groups focusing on the following target groups within the LGBT+ community:
- Trans and Non-Binary people.
- LGBT+ people from Black, Asian and Minoritised Ethnicities and LGBT+ people of colour.
- LBT+ women.
- Older LGBT+ people.
- Disabled LGBT+ people.
Funding is intended to be as flexible as possible. The grants can cover both project and core funding, providing organisations can demonstrate they are making a meaningful impact in their targeted communities.
To be eligible, the primary purpose of the organisation or project must be to support one or more of the above communities of focus.
Applicants should refer to the main grant guidance for further information on the fund.
The deadline to apply is 30 October 2022, with applications accepted on a rolling basis until then.
