Contextual Safeguarding: Addressing Gangs, Extremism & Youth Violence

This Interactive training session is aimed at frontline staff, working with young people in the education and community sector.

Time: 90 minutes.

Cost: Free.

The session aims to provide participants with:

  • An understanding of how and why gangs target young people for recruitment, exploitation, and violence.
  • An overview of the Contextual Safeguarding (CS) model.
  • An update on serious youth violence in their area using local case studies.
  • Tools with which to practically implement contextual safeguarding principles.
